Visionworks - Let's Go See - Initiative and My Cool Visit to see Steve Harvey

Something pretty amazing happened for A Chicago Mom, and I couldn't wait to share it with you all! I was contacted by Visionworks to attend a taping of "Steve Harvey" to have fun and learn more about "Let's Go See" a new initiative by Visionworks. Visionworks has team up with "Steve Harvey" to introduce "Let's Go See" to viewers of the hit daytime TV show and the studio audience.

"Let's Go See" was launched to raise awareness about the importance of annual eye exams. For the 2015‐2016 school year, Visionworks and Davis Vision are committed to donating comprehensive eye exams and glasses to 10,000 children.

Did you know that 1 in 4 kids has a vision problem?

60% of children with learning difficulties have an undetected vision problem.  And 70% of juvenile delinquents have an undetected and untreated vision problem.  Now you see how much of a difference an annual eye exam will make for a child's life. Sometimes the simple things in a child's life can make a world of difference for their future.

Visit to learn more about "Let's Go See" and to take the pledge and commit to getting your child an annual exam.

To kick off "Let's Go See" in Chicago, Visionworks and "Steve Harvey" worked together to give three deserving kids a new pair of glasses and a back to school makeover they will always remember. They looked so cute in their new glasses and cool new outfits, I'm sure they couldn't wait for school to start!

It was fun watching the kids come out in their new looks and cute glasses! Being in the Steve Harvey audience was so much fun and very exciting!

As a parting gift Visionworks brought the entire studio audience a gift bag with cool sunglass and more information about "Let's Go See".

(Steve Harvey, The Visionworks team and myself)

Huge thank you to Visionworks and Steve Harvey for having me, I had a ton of fun! Check out the cute gift bag I got from the "Steve Harvey" team!
